Arjun Suravaram Movie Review
Nikhil and Lavanya Tripathi's new movie Arjun Suravaram released today. The film is the official remake of the Tamil film Kanithan. The movie released today and check out the film's review here.
Arjun Suravaram (Nikhil) works as an investigative journalist. He leads a simple and happy life but all of a sudden, he comes across a situation where his career falls in stake because of his fake education certificates. He does not realize it until the situation comes. Slowly, Arjun realizes that there is a big scam happening behind it and sets on a mission to catch the culprit. Who is behind the scam? How is it affecting others? How did Arjun chase this? Forms the story of the movie.
Nikhil's energetic performance can be considered as the major highlight of the film. Most of the movie runs around Nikhil's character and the actor has delivered a stunning performance in the movie. He should get extra credit for his energetic performance. Lavanya Tripathi looked beautiful in the movie. Not only her look but also the performance will definitely impress the audience. Naagineedu's energetic performance added more strength for the movie and Kishore justified his role. Tarun Arora delivered a decent performance in the movie. Pragathi and Vidyullekha Raman acted naturally. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.
Director T Santosh tried his level best to make the movie as different as the original version. However, as the story of the movie is the same, some of the audience might feel that most of the scenes got repeated. However, also his pace of narration is extremely slow and it would have been good better if director T Santosh had made the movie more engaging. Production values by Rajkumar Akella under Movie Dynamix LLP are very high. Music by Sam CS is another highlight of the film. Though his songs are not captivating, his astounding background score sure elevated all the scenes. Suryaa's cinematography is really captivating and catchy. Editing by Navin Nooli is just a decent average.
The movie starts off on an interesting note. The first half is narrated in a decent way but most of the scenes felt a little bit draggy. The director tried to make the screenplay very engaging, but his execution felt boring. All sections of the audience might not connect really well with the story. The pace of narration could have been better. Nikhil's energetic performance will be the first thing that keeps the audience engaged. The actor has carried the entire film on his shoulders. Performances, BGM are the biggest highlights of the film, but the slow screenplay and lack of proper execution of the storyline will be the minus points of the film. To conclude, 'Arjun Suravaram' is a worth watching movie.
