Though the film is the debut of Shiva Kandukuri, the actor has succeeded in showcasing all the variations in his character and his subtle performance made the movie even more impressive. Varsha Bollamma's energy and beauty added more strength to the film. She also has good chemistry with Shiva Kandukuri which is a delight to watch Malavika also got a meaty role in this film. The actress has delivered an honest performance in the movie. Pavitra Lokesh and Anish Kuruvilla as Shiva Kandukuri's parents justified their rules and delivered decent performances. Gururaj Manepalli also performed really well. The rest of the actors made their presence felt.
Sesha Sindhu came up with an interesting plotline for the movie. But, his fluctuating place of narration might irk some sections of the audience. The director has handled the story well and tried to present it in a beautiful way. Keeping some of the unnecessary scenes in the second half aside, the direction is worth appreciating. Production values by Raj Kandukuri by Raj Kandukuri are luxurious. Music by Gopi Sundar is just average. None of the songs will click well. However, his BGM is really good and gives the necessary elevations in the film. Cinematographer Vedaraman impressed with his grand visuals and camera angles. Dialogues by Padmavathi Visweshwar will be the biggest plus point of this film. Editing by Ravi Teja Girijala is neat.
The movie sure has a catchy storyline but the director could have handled it in a more interesting way. Most of the scenes won't work out well. The unnecessary and draggy scenes will make the audience get bored especially in the second half. The first half is very light-hearted and both comedy and romance worked out really well. Though the romantic scenes are showcased really well, some of the scenes are felt repetitive and will make the audience get bored. However, the pre-climax and climax are handled really well. The narration in the second half and a few scenes will be the minus points in the movie. To conclude, 'Choosi Choodangaane' is a one time watch romantic entertainer movie.
