Love Story non theatrical rights sold for a bomb
Sensible director Sekhar Kammula made a sensational comeback with ‘Fidaa.’ Now the director is coming up with yet another feel-good romantic entertainer in the form of ‘Love Story.’ This film has already raised expectations with its teaser and first song.
If the Corona virus had not been there, the film would have hit the box office in the month of May. Amidst the theatres shutdown, there came reports that ‘Love Story’ might get an Over-The-Top release. However the producers have clarified that the film will release only in theatres.
Keeping this aside, Kammula’s film has pocketed good money with its non-theatrical rights. According to the buzz, the non-theatrical rights of ‘Love Story’ were sold for Rs 18 crore. This is a big amount and also the high in hero Naga Chaitanya’s career.
For now the complete details are yet to be revealed. But this would certainly raise more expectations on the film.
